In honour of Love Data Week 23 we’ve reopened our free Introduction to Data Science workshop.

Published previously as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science, this is a three-part workshop where you can find out more about the CDRC, what our data scientists do on a day to day basis and why they love working with data.

We will also walk you through a data science project, where you will have the opportunity to work with real life data in our interactive coding environment and gain experience using the Python programming language.

Programming languages can be hard to understand if you are seeing them for the first time. If you didn’t understand some of the code you’ve seen today don’t worry – learning these skills takes practice.
