Consumer Data Research Centre

Research Fellow Opportunity – Population Analytics for Mobility and Health

We are seeking to appoint a talented and highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to join the Consumer Data Research Centre, to be based at the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics.

This role bridges two of the key research themes within the CDRC – mobility and healthy lifestyles. Working with project investigators and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will develop approaches to the analysis of population movements and healthy lifestyle behaviours, at a variety of spatial and temporal scales. Using novel research datasets acquired by the CDRC, you will generate innovative research methods and results.

You will have (or be very close to obtaining) a PhD in Geography or other Quantitative Social Science discipline and be able to demonstrate a combination of enthusiasm and expertise in spatial data analysis. You will have an emerging track record in the publication of scholarly articles in peer-reviewed publications, combined with excellent all round skills as an independent researcher.
