Vast amounts of consumer data are generated each day in the UK. These data provide valuable insights into human behaviour and help organisations operate more effectively.
However it’s not just businesses that benefit from analysis of these data, researchers are also able to use consumer data to study what is going on in society today.
The Consumer Data Research Centre was established in 2014 to lead academic engagement between industry and the social sciences and utilise consumer data for academic research purposes.
We provide unique insight in to a diverse range of societal and economic challenges in collaboration with a wide range of consumer data providers.

Who we are
The CDRC was established in 2014 with funding from the UK Economic and Social Research Council and brings together world-class researchers from the University of Leeds, University College London, University of Liverpool and the University of Oxford.
