Introduction to QGIS (Online)

Overview

This one-day online course provides a practical introduction to QGIS: a free, open-source Geographic Information System.

This course covers the core principles underpinning vector-based geographic data analysis and demonstrates the value of data interrogation, analysis and visualisation in a GIS environment. Short lectures will be interspersed with hands-on practical exercises throughout the day to take participants from an introduction to the software through the creation of professional outputs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to work with your own data and seek advice regarding your own projects throughout the day.
